PLANTAGO INFUSED FACIAL OILS
To one tribe of native American's Plantago Major (AKA Plantain) was called "life medicine" and for good reason. This inconspicuous herb is packed with medicinal properties. We could also call it "skin medicine" - the leaves are used in the infusion, providing natural polysaccharides, lipids, caffeic acid derivatives, flavonoids, iridoid glycosides and terpenoids which are involved in a range of biological activities including wound healing and reduction of inflammation. It is also an analgesic, antioxidant, and a mild antibiotic with a high content of vitamin C and A. In a facial oil or serum it will enhance anti-inflammatory and antibacterial benefits and also increase the effectiveness of sunscreens when applied prior to application.
WILD ROSE PETAL INFUSED FACIAL OIL
Lucious pink rose petals are collected from the wild rose bushes, allowed to wilt for a day, then infused into nourishing, emollient facial oils. This infused Almond oil is then blended with other brilliant plant oils to create small batches of my Rose + facial oils.
Rose is renowned for it's skin benefits and has been used in various was for skin care for centuries.
Over time, facial oils used properly, can eliminate the need for additional creams and lotions. In order to seal in moisture (water) my nourishing facial oils should be applied to wet skin and allowed to to air dry.

BASE OIL: DEEP CLEANSING BLEND
Specific fresh herbs known for their unique skincare qualities infused in either *Avocado or *Olive Oil then, blended with base cleansing oils: *Grape seed oil,*Hemp seed oil, *Sunflower oil, *Safflower oil, *Apricot seed oil, *Jojoba, *Almond oil, *Aloe leaf oil, Neem oil, Vit.E, *Rosemary leaf extract (*DENOTES ORGANIC)
These blends are formulated to be packed with vitamins, and loaded with powerful antioxidants which can help prevent clogged pores, balance skin, reduce acne by regulating skin oil production, stimulate skin tissue regeneration and improve wound healing. These blends have anti inflammatory properties, helping prevent itchy breakouts.
All of my cleansing oil blends combine clarifying “astringent (linoleic acid)” oils and “conditioning (Oleic acid)” oils. Astringent oils are rich in Linoleic acid and are light, easily absorbed, and are a required ingredient in a cleansing oil. An astringent is a substance which stimulates biological tissues to contract and draw together (note, I do not include castor oil, see below)
Oils rich in Linoleic acid have proven anti-wrinkle properties and benefits skin prone to itchy breakouts. If skin is deficient in Linoleic acid the sebaceous glands of the skin produce a type of sebum which is drier and more firm than healthy sebum. This dry, hard sebum easily becomes stuck, causing blackheads & whiteheads to form.
Oils high in Oleic acids are considered to be deeply skin “conditioning” oils, they are emollient, healing, moisturizing, and occlusive. They have a heavier bodied and take longer to be absorbed making them vital to combating dryness in harsh, arid climates. Dry climates can dehydrate skin. Dehydrated skin can be easily damaged, making it vulnerable to bacterial penetration which may lead to itchy outbreaks and acne. Oleic acids nourish the skin and strengthen skin resiliency, this can help reduce breakouts in people with “dry skin” outbreaks by maintaining the skin's structure and function.
NO CASTOR OIL!
I do not include this powerful cleansing oil in my blends because it is SO EFFECTIVE that many people find it can make you feel dry. If you combat oily skin, you can try adding a few drops of castor oil to my blend for extra cleansing power.
I choose the oils in my cleansing blend for their astringent qualities, then add nourishing oils to achieve a more balanced blend which will not cause dry skin. I also include only oils which are NOT known to clog pores.
My facial oil blends are enhanced with pure, THERAPEUTIC GRADE ESSENTIAL OILS

Handcrafted in small batches to ensure purity, freshness, maximize shelf life, and maintain high level of antioxidants.
I purchase small quantities of high quality, mostly organic or wild-crafted, food grade, cold pressed oils to which I add Rosemary Extract and Vitamin E, both powerful, free radical slaying antioxidants which help minimize oxidation of the oils (rancidity). These ingredients are not considered “preservatives” in the traditional sense of the word.
I keep all of my supplies in airtight containers and stored in a cool, dark location. I carefully create my products in small batches, package them in dark containers, and store them in a cool dark location.
